SUICIDE FOREST: Arizona Black Metal Terrorists Sign Worldwide Deal with Ascension Monuments Media

After gaining notable attention through the release of several underground demos, Arizona-based black metal terror cell SUICIDE FOREST is proud to announce its worldwide signing to Ascension Monuments Media.

Listen to the anguishing demo anthology, Descend Into Despair

Founded by multi-instrumentalist A. Kruger in 2016, SUICIDE FOREST is Tuscon, Arizona’s dreary and devastating masters of melodic and melancholic lo-fi black metal. Channeling the misery found in bands such as ABYSSIC HATE, STRID and LEVIATHAN while also channeling a direct influence from second wave bands like DIMMU BORGIR, early EMPEROR and LIMBONIC ART.

In addition to signing a two album deal, the classically-influenced black metal act is reissuing its demo anthology compilation, Descend Into Despair, via Ascension Monuments, with bonus material as well as a complete redesign by Animvs Studio (LEVIATHAN). Featured on 140-gram black virgin vinyl (limited to 300) and packaged in high-quality black paper disco sleeves, the compilation also includes an insert, a patch and an 11×17 poster, a t-shirt, etc.

“We are thrilled to be working with Ascension Monuments Media,” says Kruger. “It is an honor to be on a label which has worked with some of the biggest names in American black metal, and we look forward to contributing to their exceptional catalog.”
