Chante, Ô Flamme de la Liberté is the first album from Serment, the new solo project of Moribond (Forteresse, Ephemer). The opus is a concept album telling the legend of a pact with the Devil and the quest for a lost heritage, a dark and epic journey at the heart of Québec’s snowy forests, buried beyond the snows of ages. Musically, while Moribond’s flair for all things epic and grandiose is as present as ever, Serment explores rawer and more symphonic territories than Forteresse. An awesome new entry in the pantheon of Métal Noir Québécois!
